Oh What a Night!

Yet another fantastic celebration of the past year at our annual Presentation and Trivia Night. Though overall numbers were slightly down from previous years, it did not dampen the fun generated by Nicole and Gemma as they led us through a variety of questions ranging from history, music and food, to emoji movie knowledge and geography. At the end of the night it was a close run race with new members' Team Terry Bonello taking the winners' prizes and bragging rights for the next twelve months.

A highlight of the event was the presentation of the inaugural Duncan Beatson 54 hole Club Champion's trophy to Jim Hynes; Jim's heartfelt acceptance speech had the audience silent for the first time during the night!

We also celebrated the birthday of Peter Sinclair and the wedding anniversary of Jodie and Jim Hynes.

As a major fundraiser for the club, we thank Nicole and Gemma once again for organising the night, to Di Dale for securing the cornucopia of raffle prizes and to those members and their families and friends who attended.

Thanks to our new barman Ben, who stepped in to cover last night.
