Par Bisque

Winter was back bringing a chilling breeze until the sun broke through on the back nine. 14 starters today just two shy of two grades, for a round of Par Bisque. Three players tied for the win on +8. Pierre Watson winning on countback with +5 on the inward nine. So it came down to a countback to determine if Tiger Penney 🐯 or Gary Liddy would be the runner-up. Both were tied on the back nine, tied on the last six, tied on the last 3 and tied on the 9th hole. Unable to be split we applaud them both.

NTP on the 5th/14th Alex Ryan.

Walrus (should have) headed to the sink for returning a -3; a personal thank you to Oils Flannery for lightening the onerous load that the tee master is forced to carry each and every week in order to ensure a well organised, top notch and viable competition.

Next Wednesday's competition is the Christmas Hamper stableford. Should we secure 16 players we will have two grades and two hampers to award. DON'T ALLOW YOUR ABSENCE TO BE THE CAUSE OF JUST A SINGLE GRADE!

As indicated in an earlier post this week, Saturday is also the Christmas Hamper Stableford for the weekend members, it also doubles as the qualifying round for the Summer Matchplay. In order to register for the matchplay you must write the letter M at the top of your card and be one of the top 15 scorers. Once the draw is completed, it will be posted in the clubhouse and emailed to qualifiers.

The completion dates for each round are listed in the clubhouse, and must be adhered to.
