Today was the Ian Gill Farewell 4 person gentsomes and barbecue.

Thanks to Shooter Dawson for organising the competition and presentations, and Bubba Watson for his time incinerating the tucker.

Winners with 98 points were the team of Mike Hoiles (15), Jack Carter (20), Mark Burrage (9) and Neville Clark (23).

Just a solitary point behind were runners up John Andrew (13), Gary Liddy (21), Jeremy Clare (19) and Rob Hyland (31).

93 points to Kevin Taylor (18), Karl Pongracic (26), Tony Carter (11) and John Dawson (12)

Leaving the dishes to Peter Sinclair (7), Brian Walsh (15), Patrick Cushen (13) and Ian 'Get me outta here' Gill (12) with a miserable 86 points.

This Saturday is the Woodend Hardware March Monthly Medal and the three way playoff for the 2021 Medal of Medalists between Trevor Atkins, Jarrod Plowman and Mick Doyle.

Last Saturday saw the final of the singles matchplay between Marcus Ward (11) and Rob Beatson (17) with the Walrus getting home on the 18th hole 1 up.

Next Wednesday will be a stableford competition. Reminder to all members to ensure they make their booking through the OneGolf portal.

This Sunday is the final session for the 20 participants in the 'Ladies Get Into Golf@MMGC' for this month.
