As we bid farewell to winter, we were treated to an early taste (hopefully) of Spring sunshine for today's Par Bisque with a Twist competition. Mike Hoiles received the 'Beau Brummel Attire Award' for his delicious apricot ensemble.

Unlike a normal bisque game where the player decides how many strokes of their handicap to use after the completion of the hole, the twist was players having to declare how many, if any, handicap strokes they would allocate to the hole prior to driving from the tee box; made for some interesting calculations and miscalculations.

This Saturday is our Annual General Meeting. Members need to be seated by 10am. The AGM will be followed by the Bluey Russell Memorial Stableford shotgun at 11am.

Next Wednesday will be a stableford competition.

MEGA DRAW #25 was completed today and number 34 was drawn. The first time recipients of the $150 are the Wednesday Gentlemen and the cash will go towards a BBQ later in the year. Thanks to all those who participate; 25 draws means $2500 has gone to the club.
