The 7:30 Report-Wednesday 20th April
It is with great sorrow that we learnt of the passing of Life Member John Cecchini after a long battle with cancer. John was a stalwart of the club and a very much loved character.
John's funeral will be held in Sunbury next Wednesday and will be live streamed. We will forward information to members once we can confirm details.
We said farewell to the warmth and sunshine of the past week and greeted a coolish morning for our mid week gentlemen's stableford round. Unfortunately yesterday's persistent precipitation meant the greens and surrounds were not attended to as would normally be the case...... yes... those responsible are way too soft and should be sacked! Anyone wishing to take on these roles should either put up or shut up.
