Our first Mug o' the Month for the 2020 year was contested by 21 players. Seven groups headed out in delightfully mild conditions. While later Isaac Golden and Tony Carter played their first round of the Matchplay.
Winner of the Mobile Travel Agency January Mug and B grade, on countback from Gary Liddy (23), was Graham 'Lazarus' Bonsack (21)-39 points. Mike Hoiles (14) won A grade on countback from Walrus (10) with 37 points.

Tiger Penney has once again recorded a personal best and can hardly wait for the new handicapping system to be implemented later this month.

Hand brake Malakunas (24) 38 points, 37 points for Nifty Clark (21), Plonka Moore (22) and Pierre Watson, Hayden Phillips (11) 36 points-these players are all ball competition recipients.
Joggers Andrews (11) 35 points, Graham Bysouth (23) 34, Tiger Penney (43) 33, Oils Flannery (20), Ian Gill (14), Jezza Clare (20) and Rob Devs (22) 31 points, Rob Toole (19) and Peter Sinclair (8) 30 points.
Two grades means two for the dishes-Luke Robinson (19) was the A grade representative at the sink with a creditable 28 points, while B grade saw a tight tussle between Gerry 'Dont stand behind me when I'm swinging cos the club could hit the ground and inexplicably rebound at my playing partner' Timmins (25) who saw off a dedicated challenge by Steve Hohmann (21) who returned with 21 points.
Isaac Golden defeated Tony Carter on the final hole to move into the second round.
