Field of 13 for the June Mug O' the Month. High scoring was again a tough ask as the difficult locations of the Saturday pins made it 'dangerous' to attack the hole with chips or putts. Despite that, Gary Liddy snagged a birdie on the first. We welcomed new member Geoff Pickles for his first mid week game and second for handicap along with another brother-in-law of Mike Hoiles, Steve Wilkins from Romsey Golf Club. A three way countback ensued between Peter Watson, Gregg Kennedy and Alex Ryan, all of whom finished on 33 points. Alex's back nine 19 points grabbed the mug from Gregg's 16 with Peter's 13 relegating him to third overall. Alex also grabbed the NTP on the 2nd/11th.
Some tight sphincters as low scores below 30 were the order of the day, and several sighs of relief when Romsey visitor Steve returned 18 points to secure the dish pig role. Congrats Steve on being such a good sport.

Next Saturday is a Stableford round and the following Wednesday we have a Par Bisque fixtured.
