Numbers were back today for the mid week Gentlemen's stableford round with 13 on hand to greet the starter. A couple of very special rounds in heavy conditions with sporadic showers throughout the outward nine holes.
Luke Robinson's 43 points! (25 on the front nine-that's seven under his handicap) was the runaway winner, while Steve 'The Duck' Barrow enjoyed the soggy conditions again to finish with 39 points and take the runners-up voucher. Mike Hoiles 34 and Pudden Kennedy 32 points were the only others to finish in the 30s.

Other scores: Don Bubeck (22) and Giddy (20) 29 points, Walrus (10) 28, Oils Flannery (21 )and Nifty Clark (19) 27 points, pair of 25s for Graham Bonsack (21) and Peter 'Potty mouth' Watson (23), Joggers Andrews(11) was second last with 24 while Tuppence found it something of a struggle and came home with 20 points.
