The 7:30 Report-Wednesday 23rd December. Another excellent field of 24 players today and a gloriously mild day for golf. The overnight rain has softened the course a little and the fairways look lush and inviting.... pity most of us spend our time in the rough.
Nearly a third of the field achieved handicap or better and several birdies were recorded.
This week yet another player finished with 40+ points however last week's runaway winner, Cinderella Sinclair, proved his 44 points were an aberration by scrambling just 32 this week.
Winners:
A grade (Handicaps 4-20) Mark Burrage (15) 41 points
B grade (21+) Tiger Penney (44), who despite three wipes had 22 points on the inward nine holes to pip Karl Pongracic (33) on countback.
A grade Runner-up (12) Marcus Ward 39 points and title of MMGC's unluckiest golfer!

Ian Gill (17), Will Devereux (4), Rob Devereux (21) and Gerry Timmins (26) 36 points
