As there were no results in Sunday's newspapers for the 2 person ambrose, here they are:

Winners Darcy Doyle and Alex Fraser 58 off the stick (30 on the outward nine included 3 birdies, an eagle on the ninth and a bogie on the first). 28! on the inward nine (just 5 birdies) for a nett score of 54. Runners up Jim Hynes and Jerome Langmaid returned a pair of 30s for each nine-which included 7 birdies for a nett 56 and 3/4.
Yet again the afternoon group had the best scoring conditions with the best nett score in the morning group being 61.

The Wednesday Report
Despite being welcomed by tough, breezy conditions with a nor'westerly blowing straight down the 13th hole, we continue with solid numbers for the Wednesday Gentlemen's competition-17 again today-for a Par competition. A grade (handicaps 9-19) winner and only player to play to his handicap and add to his collection in the ball comp was Steve Barrow (11) who has finally found his way back to 'Our Hidden Treasure on the Mount'. B grade winner was Peter Semmens (24) with -1. Joggers Andrews (12) took the runners up cheque with -2 on countback from Ian Gill (16). Gary Liddy (21) with -5 was the B grade runner up in a threeway countback from Jeremy Clare (19) and Nifty Clark (22).
Must have been extremely tough on the greens as our club captain started the back nine with three 3 putt greens and the resultant wipes.
Other scores:
Graeme Bonsack (19) -3, Tony Littman (11) and Richard Payne (9) -4, Mike Hoiles (17), Pierre Watson (22) and Tiger Penney (43) -7, JD (19) and Walrus (11) -8, Ian Flannery (20) -9 while Karl Pongracic ( 38) returned a -13.

Both this Saturday and next Wednesday are Stableford events.
