The 7:30 Report 16th November
We could certainly be described as 'the men for all seasons' today as showers, sunshine. rain, then showers seemed to be the menu throughout the morning for the par bisque with a twist competition.
Joel Scanlon reminded us all that when a player offers to mark their ball that may be in your line, that you might take advantage of that offer, rather than hit your putt straight into his ball and incur a penalty.
Similarly, Karl Pongracic, when you have a tap in putt from inches away, don't wave your putter over the top and have to count the stroke!
Thankful that Snags Sinclair realised when he arrived home that his bag and shoes were waiting for him at the clubhouse! Me thinks Alzheimer's may be setting in!
Today's winner was Mike Gorman (19) with a +3
Runner up on countback from Trunks Hoiles was Isaac Golden (18) even.
Other scores:
Bubba Watson (22), Shooter Dawson (14) and Tony Littman (14) -3
Gary Liddy (21), Snags Sinclair (9) and LO'Gorman (17) -5
Graeme Bonsack (19) -6
Brian Freestone (14 and Joel Scanlon (12) -7
Walrus (11) -8
Dishes for Karl P who returned a very average -9 and a card that could only be deciphered by Alan Turing's enigma machine. (google it)
