The 7:30 Report — Wednesday 9th December
Another glorious day on the course for the 23 players who attended for today's Par Bisque competition. A welcome to Burra's mates Brett Kirby from Medway GC and Stewart Murdoch from Karingal GC also a welcome back to Ken Tooley who was able to escape lockdown in Queensland.
Memory Loss Moments
1. As he left home, Peter 'Cinderella' Sinclair forgot to pick up his golf shoes that were placed beside his clubs, consequently arriving in sandals and inquiring if the club has 'spare golf shoes?' Fortunately as Walrus' sport shoes were a near perfect fit, Cinders was able to join in.
2. Karl P discovered that while gravity allowed his electric buggy to make its way to the pedestrian bridge, the fact he had left his battery in the boot of his car meant he was going nowhere hence his hasty rush back to the carpark.
